When Bonobos contacted me asking if I’d put together a Valentine’s day date night look look, it came at a perfect time considering I have a serious case of writer’s/ styler’s block. They asked me to create a blog post featuring the look I’ll be wearing on Valentines day with Ben, but if I’m honest me and Ben won’t be together to celebrate this year! I’ll be spending my Valentine’s day at work and then my evening in my PJs in bed at home, so instead of showing you my real outfit, I decided to put together a pretend outfit that, if I was going out for a meal or drinks, I would wear.
Bag: Forever 21
As some of you may have seen in my previous posts I am loving frill and colour for this S/S, especially this Topshop jumper, which I felt worked really well as a smart piece, as well as this leopard print skirt that’s been a wardrobe essential piece for me for over a year now. A lot of my outfits I tend to buy so I can wear them casual with Converse and dress them up with heels just because I’m the queen of the bargains and planning. Although I’ve only worn these Next heels once now, they are a firm favourite just because they are so beautiful and simplistic it means that will go with so many things across all seasons. Being a pretend valentine’s day, the pink and red were, of course, essential, but I decided to opt for this simple black clutch to not overdo the look and to tie in the leopard print.
This bralet is my current obsession especially because it’s only £8! I love Fleur of England lingerie, and this piece is an almost perfect copy of some of their pieces, obviously the fit isn’t so perfect but for the price, I can’t really complain.
I know perfume isn’t clothing, but it went so well with my flat lay, I couldn’t leave it out! My current favourite fragrance is Prada Candy, it’s sweet but not overpowering, it’s the first fragrance I’ve been wearing for about a year now and I still love wearing it.
Until next time,
